DHL are world leaders in delivering moments that matter. As official logistics partner to Formula 1 and the F1 Esports Series, they’ve got a unique propsect on offer… Time travel!
Okay, not quite time travel. BUT, they are offering you the chance to jump the queue and flash forward to 2021 in a sense. With the new Virtual Fastest Lap competition, you can land yourself an entry into the time trial phase of qualification for the 2021 F1 Esports Series.
Your task? Get as close as possible to a selected fastest lap time from the 2020 F1 Esports Pro Series. Each event in the Pro Series (that’s a batch of three races, in case you were wondering) will have one lap time extracted, and set as the benchmark. For Event 1, you have Lucas Blakeley’s 1:33.686 effort around Hanoi Street Circuit in your crosshairs.
The entrant who gets closest to this lap time will be parachuted into the time trial later this year, meaning you’ll be in with a chance of being selected by an official F1 Esports team for the 2021 season.
