The return of Circuit Paul Ricard to the Formula 1 race calendar was a reason to celebrate for F1 fans everywhere ahead of the 2018 season. June’s French Grand Prix was the first since 2008, and the first at Circuit Paul Ricard since 1990.
It also meant that the circuit would be included in F1® 2018, the official videogame of the 2018 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™ by Codemasters, news that excited Sim racers and gamers all across the world.
Circuit Paul Ricard has also been chosen as one of the ten circuits that make up the F1 New Balance Esports Pro Series 2018 and at Live Event Two on Wednesday 31 October, the official F1 Esports teams and their drivers will battle for crucial championship points, hoping to emulate Lewis Hamilton, winner of the 2018 French Grand Prix in June.
